Day 64: Will you still need me...will you still feed me...

It's day 64 of quarantine at home and sheltering in place, as my friend Garrison Keillor said, "here in the murky waters of Lake Wobegon, my hometown." Although there are certainly some questions about who is needed and considered "essential" and questions about how all of us are going to make ends meet during this time, remember that you are valuable for just being you. Things will work out. It is going to get better.

Today was very productive on several fronts, but the most fun productive thing I did was help my husband get our videos ready for the talent show that he is doing for his last day of class tomorrow with the kids. We are so excited to see what they come up with and hope that they enjoy our videos of singing original songs, juggling, and performing aerial silks. Getting to know these kids has been such an honor and pleasure. This is the first time I really not ready for summer, but I am sure that the next great thing is right around the corner.

Tomorrow most Ohio businesses will be permitted to open up if they follow the guidelines that have been outlined by the health department. I am hoping and praying that everyone will see the wisdom and necessity in these precautions and will help this be as smooth as possible. People are good, people.

Prepare, don't panic,

-Allison
